Industrial Sandblaster/Painter

Podium Industries are seeking Industrial Painter/Blaster's, to be a part of upcoming projects in the South West region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing industrial coating and blasting and working safely and without risk to any personnel, property or environment.

Minimum Requirements:

- Relevant trade qualification (Certificate III in Surface Preparation and Coating Application)

- Working at Heights

- White Card

- C Class Drivers Licence

- MSIC (or willing to obtain)

About the candidate:

- Must be a competent abrasive blaster

- Must be conversant with 2-pack epoxy paints

- Must have experience in the operation of conventional and airless spray equipment

- Must be able to pass a VOC and spray to specific DFT’s

- Ability to pass regular Drug & Alcohol screens and a Pre-Employment Medical

- Ability to pass a National Police Clearance

- WA based (no overseas applications please)

- A positive attitude towards safety, training and environment

- A keen eye for detail and take pride in their work

- Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines

- Willingness to take on other tasks as and when required

Desirable:

- Mining and Resources experience

- IRATA Rope Access qualification

- Ability to pass a paint test if required

- Forklift license
